How to use this Course
20 minute Lessons
The lessons are designed to take around 20-minutes a day, so you can easily add them as a compliment to your child’s daily lessons throughout December and integrate with any other Christmas themed crafts or activities you may be planning.
Audio Recordings
Each Nativity Story and Illuminated Manuscript has accompanying audio recordings so you can enjoy listening together, and children might even enjoy these as bedtime audio books, or listening in the car.
Choose your preferred format
You can choose how to enjoy this course based on your needs and your child’s learning preferences. There are two choices – a fully online course, PDF downloads you can print at home, (or a hybrid of both.)
Online Course
Every lesson is available in full within the online course, which includes direct links to all the audio recordings, guided video art lessons, videos of Christmas music and downloadable pdf files for individual lessons. Lessons are spread over 25 days, and the course will automatically keep track of your progress.
PDF Download
We have also produced the entire course as a beautiful full color, illustrated PDF download which you can print out and bind at home if you prefer. However, you do not need to print this out to complete the course - all the lessons are on the online course. For links to sacred music, you will need to access the online course.
All-in-One
We have tried to make this as simple and affordable for families as possible. All our original Nativity stories and picture studies are included in the guide, so there’s no need to buy additional Christmas story books or artwork prints The guided art project has been designed simply so you only need basic supplies such as a cardstock or watercolor paper, a watercolor palette, brush and gold colored ink. Use what you already have in your art supply cupboard, and for a list of recommended art supplies see this blog post.
