One source I enjoyed using to teach with over almost 30 years in public education was educational films. In Geography Lessons: Documentary Guide, Amy O'Meara has curated an AMAZING collection of documentaries that anyone of any age that enjoys learning about our world should have! This guide covers documentaries by theme, region, streaming services, as well as having a fantastic section on geology! They can be used alongside books and curriculums, for interest led learning, and independent studies. As a teacher, with much of my career spent in underprivileged classrooms, I always wanted to "open windows to the world" for my students.
